Man With a Million Propositions

Titanic Thompson was a great con man. Golf, card games and other well-conceived bets were Thompson’s specialties. But his real talent was an acute sense for playing the percentages – Thompson knew how to minimize risk and put himself in a position to win. Coupled with his tendency for chicanery, Thompson was a master at subtly luring marks into his profitable schemes.
