Boston Unsolved

On September 11, 2011 Waltham, Mass. police were called to the scene of a grisly murder. Three men were dead and large amounts of cash and drugs were found on site. In the following weeks, clues that might have led authorities to Tamerlan Tsarnaev were overlooked. A series of complicated and deadly events would ensue over the next twenty months – including the Boston Marathon bombing. Susan Zalkind reports for Boston Magazine.
