NFL Black Eyes
No one is a bigger fan of the NFL than yours truly. I love football and I love the many compelling story lines the NFL has provided over the years. So it pains me to talk about the league’s recent string of black eyes. Hua Hsu takes the NFL to task for Grantland and details issues ranging from a disgraceful locker room culture exposed to murder. In this case, the truth hurts. Still, I’m optimistic about a better year ahead. In my view the league needs leadership to get back on track. From the players to owners to league executives, every level of the league needs to be accountable. I’m hoping 2014 is the turnaround year.
